The rent prices in real estate in Strand, in the Western Cape region have risen considerably in the last couple of months. There has been a strong rise in the rent prices this city.

In the following two months the price per m² has risen 107 %, going from R 123,25 to R 132,1 per m². The price per m² has risen 109 % in the last two months compared to the average price for the previous four months. This was obtained by comparing the first four months of the period going from a price per m² of R 127,67 to R 139,01 during February, and March.
When referring to the price in Strand (cities & towns), there have hardly been any changes in the last 6 months. In our first sample month during October, the average price is R 12 818. In November This price remains at R 13 239. In the following two months the average price has hardly changed with regard to the previous two months from R 13 028,5 to R 12 776. During the last two months, the average price has barely gone through any changes with regard to the previous average values going from an average value of R 12 902,25 and R 12 395,5 between February and March.
