The average price in the Kwazulu-natal region has had a slight decrease in recent months. There has been a deflation in the prices in this region.
The price per m² in Kwazulu-natal has risen in the last 6 months. During October, the average price per m² was R 13 750. In November the price pretty much stayed the same at R 13 512 per m². The following two months (December, January) there has been a deflation of 93 % in the price per m² with regard to the previous two. In the last two months, the price per m² has had a significant decrease of 84 %. This has been obtained by comparing the price of R 13 172,25 for the first four months of the sample with regard to the previous 4 months and the price of R 11 122 per m² for the last two months (February, March).
Based upon to the price in Kwazulu-natal(region), this has increased in the last 6 months. The average price in October is R 1 746 826. In November the price increased to R 1 891 051. In the following two months the average price didn't change much compared to the previous two going from R 1 818 938,5 to R 1 866 041. During the last two months the average price has remained stagnant and has gone from R 1 842 489,75 to R 1 824 191,5 during February and March.
