Property prices for sale in Kwazulu-natal region

The price per m² in Kwazulu-natal has risen in the last 6 months. During October, the average price per m² was R 13 750. In November the price pretty much stayed the same at R 13 512 per m². The following two months (December, January) there has been a deflation of 93 % in the price per m² with regard to the previous two. In the last two months, the price per m² has had a significant decrease of 84 %. This has been obtained by comparing the price of R 13 172,25 for the first four months of the sample with regard to the previous 4 months and the price of R 11 122 per m² for the last two months (February, March).

Based upon to the price in Kwazulu-natal(region), this has increased in the last 6 months. The average price in October is R 1 746 826. In November the price increased to R 1 891 051. In the following two months the average price didn't change much compared to the previous two going from R 1 818 938,5 to R 1 866 041. During the last two months the average price has remained stagnant and has gone from R 1 842 489,75 to R 1 824 191,5 during February and March.

They are 59 % more affordable than the average price in Kwazulu-natal followed by those with 2 with an average price of R 1 129 185. The most costly properties have 4 bedrooms. They are 72 % more expensive than the average followed by those properties with 3 bedrooms priced at R 2 105 432.

Based on the average price per m² those properties with 4 bedrooms are the cheapest ones with a price of R 8 856 / m² being R 10 317 / m² the average value within the Kwazulu-natal region. The properties with the most expensive average price are those with 1 bedroom. These are 45 % more costly than the average followed by those with 2 bedrooms with a price of R 11 929 / m².

With an average cost of R 1 902 531 it is 50 % more affordable than the average in Kwazulu-natal. This is followed by "Land" with a price of R 1 109 750. The dearest property type is "Commercial" and is 104 % more expensive than the average, followed by "House" with a cost of R 2 386 950.

Based on the average cost per m² the cheapest property type is "Land with a an average cost of R 2 089 / m², followed by "House" with a price of R 7 090 / m². "Apartment" with an average price of R 13 444 / m² is the most costly type of property followed by "Townhouse" at a price of R 12 305 / m².
